As a small but deeply rooted nonprofit, we design programs that meet people where they are — from empowering women overcoming domestic violence, to engaging youth through mentorship and leadership activities, to offering practical workshops that build skills and confidence.

Domestic Violence Victims

Domestic violence is a pervasive issue that afects millions of individuals around the world. Victims of domestic violence often face physical, emotional and psychological abuse at the hands of their abusers, making it difficult for them to break away from their toxic situations. These victims often struggle with feelings of fear, shame and isolation, and may find it challenging to seek help due to the control their abuser has over them.

At Paralegals FTC, we play a crticical role in assisting DV victims break free from their abusive situations and rebuild their lives. By providing resources, support and education, we have positioned ourselves to empower victims to recognize their worth and take steps towards healing and recovery.

    $ Will the court fees be waived? +
    Of course! We apply for for a fee waiver, so the Court can waive any necessary fees in your case.
    👤 Is my address going to be confidential? +
    Absolutely! For your safety, we apply for confidentiality of your address so that it will never be shared with the other party.
    🏛️ Do I have to submit proof? +

    Yes, to qualify for the discounted rates, you must provide documentary evidence to be deemed a DV (Domestic Violence) victim. The following list is acceptable:

    • Order of Protections
    • Restraining Orders
    • Any other Family Offense Petitions
    • Domestic Incident Reports
    • Shelter Housing Letter
    • Any other family/criminal proceeding or documents that can provide evidence to the matter
